Sock MonkeySock MonkeySo my great grandmother used to make these for my mother and her siblings over 40 years ago! My son was so enchanted by one he saw in a picture I decided to try my hand at it. This was a great 1 hour project, with the longest part being the stuffing! And man was it a hit with my son. He calls his “monkey no eyes” due to the fact that I didn’t bother to sew any eyes on the poor monkey. Another appealing thing about this project is that it 100% machine washable. Being 2 my son has had a nice run of colds and flus this season and each time the monkey gets a turn in the washing machine and comes out great!

My great grandmother made these for my mom & her siblings over 50 years ago and my son was so enchanted by them I decided to give it a try. WOW! was this an easy project! And a huge hit for Aidan. AS you can see he is thrilled with it. He even danced it all over the house. One of the best parts for me though was that it washed like a dream! With a recent rampage of colds and flus hitting our household, everything got washed including the monkey!

My great grandmother made these for my mother and her siblings 50+ years ago! My son was so enchanted with them that I decided to make one myself! It was surprisingly easy and a real winner with Aidan. Not to mention it washed like a dream. With my son’s recent cold EVERYTHING got a bath, sock monkey included!
